Boppel Nut
400 x 295 mm on heavy, archival paper.
Limited Edition of 75 prints.
The Boppel Nut, Hicksbeachia pinnatifolia, is a small rainforest tree related to macadamias that grows in subtropical rainforest in north-east New South Wales and south-east Queensland. The contrasting textures and colours of the bark, leaves, flowers and fruit make this a very attractive garden plant. The plant painted here was growing in the Royal Botanic Gardens Sydney.
