Botanical Art Workshops in Pencil, Watercolours and Acrylics:
David runs four small-group workshops per year in Armidale, in spring, summer, autumn and winter. For information and dates for up-coming workshops please contact David.
Next workshop scheduled for 2012: the next workshop will last for two days over the first weekend in May 2012. Class size is restricted to 5 people. Total cost: $180 for the weekend if you bring your own brushes and paper (all other materials provided) or $200 with all materials provided (subject material, paints, brushes, pencils, etc); lunches and morning teas provided. This workshop will focus on painting a subject with a background behind it to add depth and interest to your piece. We will be using your choice of acrylic paints or coloured pencils or a combination of the two media. Please contact David if you are interested.
He also conducts classes for individuals on an on-going basis in his studio. If you are interested in individual tuition, whether just for a single class or for on-going guidance, please contact David.
David also teaches workshops at localities outside Armidale.
In June 2012 he will be teaching a workshop in Canberra. This workshop will be on using acrylic paints in botanical art. (This workshop is now fully booked)
