David runs four small-group workshops per year in Armidale, in spring, summer, autumn and winter. For information and dates for up-coming workshops please contact David.
Next workshop scheduled for 2012: the next workshop will last for two days over a weekend in autumn 2012. Class size is restricted to 5 people. Total cost $180 for the weekend plus materials or $200 with all materials provided (subject material, paints, brushes, pencils, etc); lunches and morning teas provided. This workshop will focus on painting a subject with a background behind it to add depth and interest to your piece . -Please contact David if you are interested.

Tropical Rainforest Plants Workshop. David will be conducting a workshop on capturing the vivid colours and beauty of Australia’s rainforest plants in the Botanical Gardens at Mackay on 14th and 15th November 2011. The emphasis in this workshop will be on using acrylics in botanical art, getting intensity of colour into your work, using light and shade to give your work life and realism, getting the botanical and artistic details right and using artistic touches to lift your work above the norm. Absolute beginners to experienced artists are welcome at this workshop which should prove to be a real treat.
